How I Conquered Asia's 1st Longest Zipline

"If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try" - Seth Godin

Me and my workmates went to Cagayan de Oro to attend a very special occasion. And of course, the opportunity is already there to explore CDO, we grab it.

We went to Dahilayan Adventure Park which has the longest zipline in Asia. This was, i think, featured in some news and blogs and it was so famous that it made me think to try.

NO. I SHOULD NOT DO IT. I got so many reasons not to try it but still, it got me thinkin’

My workmates were also hesitating but they were really trying hard to put on a brave face and i think, it was pretty convincing.

My greatest fear riding one is my weight. I have these crazy “final destination” scenes in mind on how i’d end up my life. Good thing, the limit was 100 kls. A lil’ bit far from my weight but still.. hehe

BELIEVE, EXPERIENCE and HAVE FUN.

1.  BELIEVE. One way to conquer is to believe that you can do it. Tho I have trust issues on this things and weight maybe was a problem for me in this part, I still do have a lil courage to put on a show. Just, believe.

2. EXPERIENCE. It is the best teacher they say, but for me too. Hehe. You just have to experience the best part of everything.

3. HAVE FUN. Just enjoy the ride 😅

So please bear with the video below. It’s 3/4 me and my shouting and 1/4 the ground below.

PS: I guess it was already brave of me to hold a selfie stick during my zip. It was dangerous, I tell you!

This post is dedicated to my workmates who were with me during this awesome trip. To Mrs. Noemi Obidos, congratulations and best wishes!
